Our skin has holes in it.
People often make their skin harmful to their body by adding toxins to their skin that go through the skin into the blood then throughout the body.
Everybody knows about the skin patches are used to deliver drugs into the body.
There's a long list of drugs that can be delivered into the system through the skin.
Hormone replacement, stop smoking patches, pain reduction and lots more. In the case
of pain they use words like "Transdermal drug delivery in pain management." If you go
on a ocean cruise you can buy skin patches to stop seasickness. There is even some talk now about delivering synthetic vitamins through a skin patch.
Remember all this when you put your perfume or aftershave lotion on your skin. Read
the label and then ask yourself, do I really want this in my bloodstream? Do I
really want my liver & my immune system to stop doing what they do to neutralize
these new poisons. I call them poisons because anything that is not food (air and
water) is harmful to your system if it is in your blood.
Put your perfume or aftershave on your fabric or clothes, not on your skin.
Check the label on any and all skincare products that you use. There are natural
skincare products on the market.
Synthetic and mixed fiber cloth are also harmful to the skin and your health.

Do you want to stop childhood obesity?
I'm sure you do - but food companies don't. They spend billions on advertising targeting children - $1.6 billion in 2006 alone - and now they're objecting to voluntary government guidelines for marketing food to children.
Major food companies are lobbying the government to withdraw the guidelines completely and instead use the industry's own definition of "responsible advertising." The message couldn't be clearer: they don't care if their products hurt kids. They care about the bottom line. So we joined forces with the Center for Science in the Public Interest to take on the food industry and tell its chief executive officers to stop the attacks and start helping our children. We need you to stand with us today to make sure they get the message loud and clear.
Click here to stand with EWG today in demanding that the CEOs of 13 manufacturers use their resources to market healthier food to our children, not to lobby to protect the unhealthy status quo.
Because of the alarming rates of childhood obesity, in 2009, Congress instructed the Federal Trade Commission, Food and Drug Administration, Centers for Disease Control, and Department of Agriculture to form an Interagency Working Group to look into child-targeted advertising and recommend standards for marketing food to children under 18.
When the Working Group published its draft, voluntary guidelines in April, it suggested that food companies adopt two voluntary principles, not legally enforceable by any regulatory agency, that food advertised to children should:
make "a meaningful contribution to a healthful diet" by containing a significant amount of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy products, fish, extra lean meat or poultry, eggs, nuts and seeds, or beans.
have only "minimal quantities of nutrients that could have a negative impact on health and weight," such as sodium, saturated fat, trans fat and added sugars.
These commonsense recommendations would encourage children to adopt healthy eating habits. But the goal for big food interests is an even fatter bottom line, so they're lobbying the government and calling on the Working Group to throw out its voluntary proposal and use the industry's own guidelines for responsible advertising.
We can't let them get away with it. EWG is taking on the food industry and we need you to stand with us - companies need to hear from their customers.
Click here right away to tell the CEOs of 13 large manufacturers to market healthier food to children, not lobby the government.
Thank you for standing up for healthy children. We can't move markets without your support.
Sincerely,
Ken Cook

Memory and Cognition conference in New York City
The cognitive effects of plant polysaccharides (Ambrotose® complex) presented at the Society for Applied Research in Memory and Cognition conference in New York City.
September 1, 2011
Dr. Talitha Best, post-doctoral research fellow at the Nutritional Physiology Research Centre, University of South Australia, and the Brain Sciences Institute, Swinburne University of Technology, recently convened and chaired a symposium entitled “Eating behaviour from a cognitive experimental perspective” at the Society for Applied Research in Memory and Cognition’s (SARMAC) ninth international conference, which met June 27-30, 2011 in New York City. Scientists participating in Dr. Best’s symposium presented experimental findings from numerous studies that demonstrated the bi-directional relationship between eating behaviour and cognition. These studies explored the diverse and complex cognitive processes that are involved in, and affected by, eating behaviour and dietary interventions. Specific dietary interventions under investigation included glucose, tea and plant-polysaccharides (Ambrotose® complex). Dr. Best presented the results of a study that she recently conducted with Australian colleagues on Ambrotose complex. This human, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, which evaluated the effects of Ambrotose complex powder on mood, memory and cognitive tasks, showed for the first time that improvements in cognitive task performance were independent of blood glucose responses.*†
The purpose of the SARMAC Conference is to advance memory and cognition science by bringing together international experts actively engaged in research. Participants were treated to keynote addresses from leaders in memory and cognition research who explored a variety of important issues, including the need for researchers to systematically document unpublished scientific findings.

Training takes the negative out of MLM - Networking
This is one of 3 "Must Watch" videos that I have all new members of our Mannatech team watch. It's so important to have them understand & it is only 10 min long. Please share with all your team and your success will go up.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FclI8hGQgb4&feature=related
Most people don't fail at MLM.
Most never try to have an income.
Most choose not to get the training they need to be able to succeed.
Most think they know how to do it and don't ask for help, won't attend trainings, or don't do what they are taught.
Most people decide they just don't like it or want to continue doing it.
So they didn't fail at it, they quit. They decided they did not like it and didn't do what they needed to try to suceed.
Or they never started. They just wanted to be a consumer.
And there is no way to get hurt or lose money in MLM. You get the benefit of the products or you are refunded.
Its far safer and lower risk than investing in stock, or Forex.
Its less costly than going on a skiing trip where you can't make any money or even hitting the casinos.
So when people say most fail at MLM it is an excuse because they got their hopes up but decided to quit instead of learning and helping others so they could succeed.
These are the kind of negative concepts that if associates are not trained in and given another perspective will make them less effective or shut them down. Once they know these they are stronger and feel better about what they do and able to persevere and influence others to duplicate..
Along with the other concepts I sent in my previous email.
I have never heard Tim Sales discuss a product or ingredients. Maybe he does but it is not what he puts out on training people so they can make sales.
